Nollywood actress, Omoni Oboli is celebrating her father! The "First Lady" actress took to Instagram yesterday, August 1, 2016 wishing him a happy birthday.

The star actress recently penned a love message to her husband, Nnamdi Oboli.

According to her, she was a little girl when they met, 'almost a child bride' but with patience and guidance she became a woman.

She shared a picture of him writing, "Fine boy! Happy birthday to my #MCE @nnamdioboli. What would I do without you in my life? You are EVERYTHING The method to my madness, the calm in my ever so colorful life, the wind beneath my wings, the lifetime president of my fans club, my cheerleader, my biggest otinkpu, the shoulders I cry on. Omoni and Nnamdi celebrated their 15th wedding anniversary back in October 28 last year. The pair are blessed with three boys.

Former Destiny's Child band mate LeToya Luckett has finalized her divorce from husband of two months, Rob Hillman.

The duo who got married in January this year where reported to have split two months later according to TMZ. They report that the union became over permanently on Monday, August 2, 2016.

LeToya used to be a band mate in the defunct Destiny's Child with Beyonce Knowles and Kelly Rowland. The group launched in 1990 but LeToya left after recording their first two albums.

Her former husband, Hillman is an author, entrepreneur and public speaker and also goes by the name, Rob Hill Sr.

TMZ wrote: 'The couple, who married in January, split this spring and recently finalized their divorce.' It has also been learned that they had become engaged on New Year's Eve.

Meanwhile, there is an order from the court preventing either party from speaking about the split or posting about it to social media.

They both still had a splendid red carpet appearance back in February at the 2016 Stellar Gospel Awards at the Orleans Arena in Las Vegas.

Seems like rapper Kanye West is really serious about running for USA's president come 2020.

In an interview with BBC Radio 1, Kanye said he still has plans to make a White House run in 2020. According to him, "We are numb, we’re numb to 500 kids getting killed in Chicago a year, we’re numb to the fact that it was seven police shootings in the beginning of July. We’re numb to places on the Earth that we don’t live – like our life is okay but it’s okay for other people’s lives to not be okay."

He told host Annie Mac he is however not running for President because of politics. To him, "When I talk about the idea of being president, I’m not saying I have any political views, I don’t have views on politics. I just have a view on humanity, on people, on the truth. If there is anything that I can do with my time and my day, to somehow make a difference while I’m alive I’m going to try to do it."

Meanwhile, if there is one person who is not going to vote for Kanye come 2020 it's George W. Bush.

Recall that the former United Stated president dissed Kanye's run for president last year. The native Texan might not be a big fan of Kanye considering in 2005 during a TV fundraiser for Hurricane Katrina, Kanye went off script and declared “George Bush hates black people.”

For one vying for presidency, Kanye has also been called "a jackass" by current President, Barrack Obama after he interrupted Taylor Swift's acceptance speech at the 2009 MTV Video Music Awards.

His daughter, Yeni Anikulapo-Kuti, took to her Instagram page writing, "Nineteen years ago our Icon father, leader and father of the Nation left the world stage. He lives in us forever and continues to guide and protect us. That is why Nigeria didn’t go to war against all predictions. Rest in peace Fela. We miss you."

Singer drops California lawsuit against Dr Luke

Kesha's legal battle started in 2014, when she filed a lawsuit claiming Dr Luke had sexually abused her.

Pop star, Kesha on Monday, August 1, 2016 dismissed her California lawsuit against producer, Dr. Luke.

 

The singer's attorney Daniel M. Petrocelli told press, "Kesha has dismissed her California action without prejudice while she pursues her appeal and other legal claims in the New York courts. Kesha is focused on getting back to work and has delivered 28 new songs to the record label. We have conveyed to Sony Music and the label Kesha’s strong desire to release her next album and single as soon as possible."

Kesha's legal battle started in 2014, when she filed a lawsuit claiming Dr Luke had sexually abused her, forced her to take drugs and was excessively controlling. 

A New York judge then denied an injunction to allow her to record with another label. She then beefed up her legal team with Petrocelli and filed an appeal.

"If Kesha is voluntarily dismissing her claims in the California case, it is because she has no chance of winning them," Dr. Luke's attorney Christine Lepera said in a statement. "Earlier this year, she lost her meritless counterclaims against Dr. Luke in the New York Action. Recently, the California Court invited Dr. Luke and the other defendants to move to dismiss Kesha’s claims in that action. Kesha never should have brought her false and meritless claims against Dr. Luke in any court. Dr. Luke’s defamation and other claims against Kesha are still proceeding."

Sony has however refused to comment.

According to The Net News, the actress put to bed around 2 PM on Saturday, July 16, 2016, in Texas. 

Now, a lovely photo of her and the baby has surfaced on the Internet.

Bimbo can be seen planting a kiss on her baby's cheeks.

Her bundle of joy comes after a baby shower was organised by a few of her friends. The identity of the father of the child has however not been disclosed, but he is suspected to be the actress' US based lover.

Thomas started receiving congratulatory messages on her Instagram page from fans, after she posted a cryptic message announcing the birth of the child.

Recall that, mossahinoo.blogspot.com reported the savvy actress was expecting a baby with her U.S based lover after recently getting a sweet deal with Glo. Bimbo Thomas was reported to have put the launching of her clothing store in Yaba, Lagos on hold pending the time she gives birth.

Mrs Rita Edochie recently revealed she was a victim of sexual abuse years ago.

Edochie who was a guest at a seminar to end violence against children called on parents to regularly communicate with their children.

She revealed this in an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) on Wednesday in Abuja.  According to her, she was sexually violated at a young age by a family friend.

She explained that the pregnancy was about seven months before her mother noticed it.

Edochie added that her mother was shocked at the pregnancy because she thought her being strict would not allow such a thing to happen.

The veteran actress then called on parents to communicate regularly with their children and make them their best friends.
